The Italian Job

The Italian Job

The Italian Job is a 2003 film directed by F. Gary Gray, starring  Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Edward Norton, Jason Statham, Seth Green, Mos Def and Donald Sutherland. It is an amazing film with a lot of speed and humour. The film was extremely entertaining.

Just after Charlie and his crew manage to pull off an outrageously daring heist, Steve, a member of his crew betrays them and leaves them to die. An year later, Charlie reunites his crew with a terrific new addition and plans to pull off anther heist against his former ally.  The film revolves around how they do it and you will be stunned by the courage, intellect and teamwork of these gems.

This film was extremely fast and at no point will you ever feel bored. It is extremely well directed and the scenes are very well executed. The sound effects were beautiful and I found the background music fantastic The acting was incredible.

There was one line in the film which I thought was pretty cool. The line is: I trust everyone. I just don’t trust the devil inside them. This I find is quite true. This also forms one of Gandhi’s ideals.

The film also teaches us several things (even though its central theme was based on thievery). It most importantly teaches us the importance of will power.

I really enjoyed watching this movie and my mind was blown of by the trickery of the movie. I would recommend all of you to watch this movie.
