Hey Guys! Today I am doing the Folklore Book Tag. It has been rather trending on WordPress and I decided to give it a go as 1. I love Taylor Swift. 2. It is rather interesting. I know I am rather late in doing it, but better late than never, right?
Folklore is an album released by Taylor Swift on July 24 and it has risen to become a great album. I haven’t listened to all of the songs of the album but the ones I have, they are really awesome.
The Rules:
- Link to the original creator: Ilsa @ A Whisper Of Ink.
- Tag at least 3 people.
- Declare the rules and list of prompts in your post.
- Thank whoever tagged you and link to their post.
1. The 1: A book with an ending that left you speechless.
There are two books which fall into this category for me. The first one is Gone Girl and the second one is The Wife Between Us.

When I reached the end of Gone Girl, I was shocked. The ending was extremely unconventional and I would have not expected it in a thousand years.

This was another novel whose ending left me speechless. I was shocked in this book not once but twice. But it was the ending which was just amazing.
2. Cardigan: A book that makes you feel happy and sad all at once.
The Room On the Roof

There aren’t many books which make me feel this way, but there is one book that distinctly make me feel so- The Room on the Roof by Ruskin Bond
I guess the reason I felt happy and sad all at once after reading this book was that the ending was sad but the novel was great; I was sad because of the ending but I was happy that I had read such a great novel.
3. The Last Great American Dynasty: A book with a fascinating, extremely well told story.
The Avalonia Chronicles Trilogy

Well, I am going to name a trilogy here- the Avalonia Chronicles. The story is extremely well told and the tale is also supremely fascinating. The author has described the characters very well and the novel was rather addictive. Sadly, I do not have the hard copies or the ebooks of the three novels. I aspire to own them some day though.
4. Exile: A book you wish you hadn’t read
TBH, there really isn’t any book I wish I hadn’t read. Every book- good or bad is a new experience and teaches me something.
5. My Tears Ricochet: A book that had you crying uncontrollably
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

There was just one part wherein I had felt very very sad- Sirius’ death. I had loved Sirius Black more than any other character in the series and I believe that he is one person who shouldn’t have died. I even cried a little when Fred died but I didn’t love him as much as Sirius.
6. Mirrorball: A book that feels like it was just written for you

There is no book which I feel was written just for me, but this book is the closest any book has ever come to being written just for me. There is an introverted girl, she writes fanfic [I write blogs] and so on.
7. Seven: A childhood book that makes you feel nostalgic
The Little Toy Engine and Other Stories

All my childhood I have read books written by Enid Blyton. However, the book The Little Toy Engine and Other Short Stories holds a special place in my heart as it was the first ‘thick’ book that I read.
8.August : A book that reminds you of summer

Meet Me at Midnight is a novel which reminds me of summer, probably because it is set in summer. It is a fun, light read.
9. This is Me trying: A book that deals with loneliness and sadness.
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

I haven’t read many books that deal with loneliness and sadness but this was one book which I thought dealt with loneliness of a kind. I personally believe that Coriolanus Snow was shaped into who he was by his circumstances- which were kinda sad and lonely.
10. Illicit Affairs: A book that gave you a book hangover

There isn’t only one book which gave me a book hangover; there are several. However, the book On the Fence by Kasie West was exceptionally good and gave me a book hangover. TBH, all Kasie West gave me book hangovers.
11. The Invisible String: A book that came into your life at exactly the right time.

I had heard about these books quite often but had never read them. I read them this summer as I finally got the paperbacks and I wanted to read a series. And boy, were they brilliant.
12. Mad Woman: A book with a female character you adore.

The Selection is a fantastically written book series with a rather amazing plot. But the lead protagonist of the first three novels- America Singer is a personal favourite of mine. I simply love her- there is nothing else to say.
13. Epiphany: A book that is haunting
There are two books which I found to be haunting: The Lie and The Girl on the Train.
The Lie

This was a book which gave me nightmares. I felt very scared when I was reading it. It wasn’t very haunting but I still felt uncomfortable once I finished it.
The Girl on the Train

This was a book which I found to be mildly haunting. There were just a few parts whch were a little scary otherwise the book was pretty good.
14.Betty: A book couple that fills you with yearning
Percabeth

There are some book couples that are really cute but my favourite one is Percabeth for sure. They are just adorable💕💕
15.Peace: A book character you would die for
Leo Valdez

Leo Valdez. He is like my favourite character in the entire demigod world and is severely underrated. He has gone through so much and yet he is always so lively. I just love him🧡🧡
16. Hoax: A book you thought you would love but didn’t

I honestly thought I would love this book as everybody had a great review for it but I didn’t really find this book worth it.

Anyways, nice blog
