Just Some Bibliophilic Things #5 | 17/10/20

This week’s question: One book related memory that you love.

So, a book related memory I love is of when I was in the second grade. In our school library, we were allowed to take books according to our grades. For example, first graders were to take from a certain section, second graders from another and third and fourth graders from a section. Any first grader/ second grader who was an avid reader could take books from the higher class sections provided he/she proved themselves worthy.

Now, I was determined to do so. So, everyday I would take a book and read and return it. And finally I was allowed to read books from the third and fourth grade sections. That small thing made me extremely happy!!

  1. My favorite book related memories are all those lovely times that I used to Billu and Pinky and Chacha Chaudhary. 😍😍😍 they were so good. Also the time I got the HP box set on my birthday is a fond memory I have. Nice post

  4. Riddhi, Thank you for the question and here is the answer comes for you…

    I like to read all books..R.K Narayan books are something special, He used to write in layman’s language…
    I used to take every genre randomly..so its difficult to choose a genre that I wont opt but definitely only focuses on good morale books..

  5. That’s such a sweet memory – I’m glad all your hard work paid off!
    I think my favorite bookish memory was probably the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. My best friend and I picked up our copies at midnight (wearing Hogwarts costumes) and then we stayed up all night and the rest of the day reading together 😊
