Hey everyone! For today’s interview I will be interviewing Georgia over from Lost in Neverland. Do give her blog a follow, as she posts some truly amazing content! Let’s get started!
Me: Tell me something about yourself.
Georgia: I am in my final year at university and whilst I’ve been there this year, my Dad has built me two new bookcases that I can finally fit all of my books on!
Me: That’s cool! So, why did you start blogging?
Georgia: I started blogging because I love books and wanted the opportunity to review some ARC’s. I also wanted to share my thoughts about my favourite books.
Me: Oh, I see. Why did you start blogging?
Georgia: I’m quite interested in having a career in publishing and maybe the marketing/advertisement side, I’m not 100% sure yet but I figured having a blog might give me a bit of experience. I also love interacting with people on their blogs and the community of book lovers
Me: Hmm… I think that’s true, blogging might give a bit of an experience. Why do you blog about books?
Georgia: I blog about books because I love them, and always have. I’ve read for as long as I can remember and it is a large part of my life.
Me: Same here! So, what is your least favourite thing about it?
Georgia: The hardest part is definitely the pressure I put on myself to post, even when I have so much uni work to do! Or not having the time to respond to comments and read other people’s posts and then I get a massive backlog that I feel guilty about!
Me: I think that is something all bloggers have a problem with. So, you obviously read, but what are your favourite books?
Georgia: Yes, I love to read! My all-time favourite books are the Throne of Glass series, A Court of Thorns and Roses series and The Folk of The Air trilogy. To be honest, I could list many more but I’d be here all day!
Me: TOG is definitely something! And I wanna read ACOTAR!!! So, what are your favourite genres?
Georgia: My favourite genre is definitely young adult or new adult fantasy. I love getting lost in the fantasy worlds that the author creates and would much prefer to be there! I also love YA contemporary but I haven’t read a lot of that for a while.
Me: Ah, YA is an awesome genre! And what about your taste in music?
Georgia: I’m always listening to music! Taylor Swift is my favourite artist and she has been since about 2010! I also love 5sos, all members of One Direction, and many many more!
Me: I haven’t heard 5 SOS, but I agree with TS and 1D for sure!! What are your strengths?
Georgia: This is a tricky one for me to answer, I’ve never been good at saying my strengths. I think my ability to stay focused on uni work in the first lockdown and not completely lose it would be one!
Me: Haha, true! What are some of your pet peeves?
Georgia: I’ve never properly thought about my pet peeves before, but I think when someone makes a mess but doesn’t clean up after themselves or when people make fun of your interests.
Me: That can be super annoying. What are your hobbies?
Georgia: This blog is one of my hobbies, but also reading, playing my piano and guitar and horse riding.
Me: Horse riding? That sounds exquisite! So, dogs or cats?
Georgia: Dogs all the way definitely. I don’t have one but I love them. I love Spaniels, Labradors and Golden Retrievers.
Me: You get ten on ten for this answer! It is absolutely correct! A round of applause everybody! Next up is, a good thing that happened in 2020?
Georgia: I started this blog and I achieved my first ever first on one of my uni essays so I’m pretty proud of that!
Me: Yay!! So, who is your role model?
Georgia: Honestly, Taylor Swift, because despite all the hate and backlash she has received she has managed to stay positive and overcome it.
Me: That’s a good choice, honestly. So, last but not the least, what do you think of my blog?
Georgia: I love your blog and the different kinds of posts you make! I also love it’s layout and the way everything is organised, Keep it up!
Me: Thanks, I will!!!
And that’s the wrap, folks! I will see you next week with two new interviews!

Ah, I didn’t know you also played piano, Georgia! That’s so cool! 😊 And yes, I 100% relate to having an overwhelming backlog of posts to get to! Awesome interview, Riddhi – I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts on ACOTAR (and ACOMAF!!) eventually!
