Book Tag | The Enola Holmes Book Tag

Hey everyone!

So, I recently watched Enola Holmes, and I realised that Madeline @The Bookish Mutant had tagged me to do this tag waaay back in January, and I thought I should finally get to it!

Enola Holmes Mystery Series (6 Books) by Nancy Springer – Gutter Bookshop
Enola Holmes (film) - Wikipedia

Let’s begin!

Rules

  1. List the rules and the prompts of the tag in your post
  2. Thank the person who tagged you and pingback to their post
  3. Give credits to the creator of the tag, Bellerose Reads, and pingback to her post.
  4. Tag at least 5 people to do the tag.
  • ENOLA HOLMES: An independent and smart female protagonist

I am gonna go with Linh Cinder or Princess Selene from The Lunar Chronicles. Hey, you knew I would use it, after all, it’s just been a few days since I have come out of that world!

  • SHERLOCK HOLMES: Your favorite mystery/thriller book

I have gotta go with The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. It’s one of a kind!

The Murder of Roger Ackroyd eBook by Agatha Christie | Rakuten Kobo
  • EUDORIA HOLMES: A character that defies the rules of their society
I am gonna go with Samantha from American Royals, as despite being royalty, she is…. well not regal.
American Royals: 1: Amazon.in: McGee, Katharine: Books

  • MYCROFT HOLMES: The most annoying character you know
Okay, unpopular opinion, but Violet from All the Bright Places. She annoyed the hell out of me!
Buy CROSSWORD All the Bright Places | Shoppers Stop
  • LORD TEWKSBURY: A character you want to protect at all costs
I am gonna go with Wylan from Six of Crows, even though he probably doesn’t need protection, because he has Jesper, and he isn’t a bad fighter himself. But, still you know?
Buy Six of Crows: Book 1 Book Online at Low Prices in India | Six of Crows: Book 1 Reviews & Ratings - Amazon.in
  • INSPECTOR LESTRADE: A loyal side character
Okay, super unconventional choice, but I choose Arrow of Dodona here. It… is the best!
Buy The Trials of Apollo Book One The Hidden Oracle: 1 (Trials of Apollo, 1) Book Online at Low Prices in India | The Trials of Apollo Book One The Hidden Oracle:
  • MISS HARRISON: A book that aged like milk
Again, super unpopular opinion, but I choose Caraval, as it just didn’t work for me!
Buy Caraval (Caraval, 1) Book Online at Low Prices in India | Caraval ( Caraval, 1) Reviews & Ratings - Amazon.in
  • LINTHORN: A character you hated from the very beginning
Well, my answer is Thaumaturge Aimery from Winter. Somehow, I hated him even more than Levana, ugh.
Buy Winter: 4 (The Lunar Chronicles) Book Online at Low Prices in India | Winter: 4 (The Lunar Chronicles) Reviews & Ratings - Amazon.in
  • EDITH: Your favorite book with Black rep
I haven’t really read a lot of books with black rep, though they are on my TBR. Oh, don’t get me wrong, it’s just that I have such a huge TBR, and I put YA Contemporary romances and fantasies foremost, and those don’t have a lot of black rep. Besides, I rarely pay attention to the race a person belongs to.

I tag:

  1. Leah @Leah’s Books
  2. Carl @The Pine-Scented Chronicles
  3. Ashmita @The Fictional Journal
  4. Rayna @Ray is writing
  5. Leah @Big, Bad and Bookish
  6. Sasha @The Infernal Pages
  7. YOU!!!!!!!!

And that’s all for this tag! Have you read the book? Have you watched the film? Chat with me in the comments!

  1. I literally just hurried through doing this tag this morning so I could get it out and then I went and read your tag and I realized we literally did the same thing for ‘Lord Tewksbury’…but Wylan is still gonna be my choice, he’s too precious and must be protected haha.

      2. Oh wait, I get your question now, you see it’s a tag, and in tags we are given prompts , in this case related to characters. So whichever book I found appropriate I put it as an answer.

  2. I completed The Murder of Roger Ackroyd recently. And because of that 1 mistake I made, it spoilt the whole book! I read that sentence where Poirot says “….-Dr Sheppard” beforehand 🀦 and I started suspecting him from the start πŸ€·πŸ€¦πŸ™†πŸ˜ž so… yeah:(
