Hey guys!! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!
So, this is another tag I found almost finished in my drafts from Sept-Oct 2020 so I felt I should finally post it, since I am too lazy (and tired) to type one out.
Today, I will be doing another book tag- the Inside and Out Book tag. I came across this tag at A Russian Affair Blog. It is a must-see blog for all Russian Literature lovers!
Let’s begin!
- Inside flap/back of the book summaries: Too much info? Or not enough?
It varies from book to book. Sometimes it is, sometimes there isn’t. However, it is rather weird to see what newspapers have to say about the book. It doesn’t really guarantee I will like the book. I don’t really mind to see what authors have to say about it as if I like the author I will definitely read the book. - New book: What form do you want it in? Be honest: Audiobook, eBook, Paperback or Hardcover?
Both Paperback and Hardcover work but I generally read eBooks as they are easier to manage. Some day perhaps, I will own only paperbacks and no Ebooks.
- Scribble while you read? Do you like to write in your books; take notes, make comments, or do you keep your books clean, clean, clean?
NEVER! I love to keep my books spotless. I do have a few novels wherein I have notes written but that is just because of the fact that they were textbooks or non-fiction.
- Does it matter to you whether the author is male or female when you’re deciding on a book? What if you’re unsure of the author’s gender?
Not really. I generally do read more of female authors but that might just be because of the fact that I read a lot of YA . The point is, I just like reading good books and don’t care much about who wrote them. It’s the story that matters.
- Ever read ahead? Or have you ever read the last page way before you got there?
Nope. - Organized bookshelves or outrageous bookshelves?
They are beyond outrageous. That’s all I am saying. - Have you ever bought a book based on the cover (alone)?
Ummmm… I know it sounds idealistic but I really haven’t. If a cover attracts me, I read the synopsis and then whether or not do I read it. - Take it outside to read, or stay in?
I can read anywhere as long as I have a good book in my hands😁😁.
I tag:
- Tilly @The Biblioshelf
- Lia @Chain of Novels
- Kira @Kira Jeanette
- Aashi @Words On Fleek
- Aarushi @Aarushi Reads
- April @Booked Till Midnight
- YOU!!!
Let me know more about your reading habits in the comments!!

Great answers! I also love keeping my books spotless! Although there are second-hand books I bought with scribbles. Nevertheless, I find their notes interesting for they offer a different perspective. 🙂

I’m with you 100% on not writing in books. I’ve had people laugh and tell me books aren’t sacred when I say that, but for me it’s more that I don’t want to freeze my thoughts. I re-read my favorites now and then, and I enjoy how I find myself looking at things in new ways. If I wrote down my very first impressions, I feel like I would always come back to those old thoughts rather than having fresh ones.
Also, I read a lot of books from libraries and I don’t wanna get billed. 😅

Yeah, that’s true! Like when you read books after years, you are a changed person, of course.
Thanks for reading!
