Swiping Left or Right For Book Characters! | Book Character Tinder | Part III

[I am literally posting this at 2:39 A.M. I was am doing an assignment (I have to hand write over 50 pages, my handwriting sucks so I have to go super slow), and in the breaks I was typing this post. Efficiency πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―]

Hey everybody! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!

Today I will be completing this series of posts of Book Character Tinder, and I gotta say, I am sorta sad that it’s coming to an end. These were posts that I enjoyed doing and all of you enjoyed reading!

Also, I know I know, I literally posted like 12 hours ago, but I just wanted to post again so well.

Without further ado, let’s get to it!

Rachel’s Recommendations:

Kiera Johnson:
-video game developer
-an unapologetic black woman (she/her)
-gamer girl
-S L A Y

Uh, no. I am sorry I am just not into gamers. I mean, she must be super cool and badass but she’s just not my type.

Neville Longbottom
-he/him Gryffindor
-needs help with potions (I can help with Herbology if you want)
-killed a Horucrux one time (it’s a long story)
-why is it always me???

Oh, hmm, I might just date Neville. I don’t know really.

James Potter:
-captain of the Gryffindor quidditch team
-if you aren’t Lily Evans I’m not interested

Well, then I guess there’s no point pursuing him.

Aanya’s recommendations:

Hilarious (that’s it)

Um, no, thanks, I am not interested in poltergeists.

Prince Maxon
SOOOOO HUMBLE like dude how
Nice I guess.
(basically everything I’m not)

Sadie Kane

Um, yeah! I mean, who wouldn’t??

Rayna’s Recommedations:

Meg Mccraffey
-somewhat playful

Um, yes I love Meg! I mean she is so coooool!

Salina woods
-somewhat funny
-likes pranking

I am sorta unsure about Salina, because if she’s sporty, she might drag me along too, so well.

Kafi Omega
-kind, but not a doormat

I am sorry but no. Like he seems like an awesome person, but I am not too much into introverts.

Abby’s Recommendations

Maverick Carter (from Concrete Rose)
β€” Teen dad
β€” Makes mistakes but owns up to them
β€” May or may not be involved in a gang
β€” Honest about his feelings
β€” Super dedicated to stuff when he’s passionate about it

The teen dad thing’s a bit off a turn-off since I don’t want to become a potential candidate for a stepmum so soon. But otherwise, he seems really good!

Elias Veturius (from An Ember in the Ashes)
β€” Compassionate, courageous, and loyal
β€” A precious sweetheart (excuse my bias)
β€” Painful past that haunts him
β€” Has a tendency toward self-hatred
β€” Really skilled (like REALLY skilled) with weapons

YES. He seems super sweet!!!! And our ship name would be sorta cute too- Rias.

Grey (from A Curse So Dark and Lonely)
β€” Loyal to a fault
β€” Has a β€œsubversive” sense of humor
β€” Tons of military expertise
β€” Honest and straightforward
β€” Ready to make sacrifices when needed

Yes, I think I would love to date him, because, first his name’s so cool!! And then subversive humor plus loyalty= #dreamboyfriend.

Akshita’s recommendations:

Zachary Goode
-very passionate

I do like spies, so maybe? I don’t know, hehe.

Clay Jensen
-never falls into troubles
-liked by adults
-typical nice and safe boy

Nah, he is too much of a goody-two-shoes for me. Me, I like someone who is a bit of a daredevil. Not too much, mind you, just a tad.

-has many children
-very handsome
-lives underwater

OMG, I love Poseidon! I love his and Percy’s relationship! But dating him, especially considering the many children aspect and the fact he is over a thousand years old, I think the obvious answer is no.

Naemi’s Recommendations:

AIDAN (from the Illuminae Files)
– just your average murderous AI with a few technological issues
– your fierce protector when you need one
– has a bit of experience handling a pandemic

Ah, I don’t know about the AI and the murderous thing. Maybe I might give him a shot? I don’t know, honestly.

Gilbert Blythe (from Anne of Green Gables)
– smart, and willing to get competitive about it
– incredibly caring and loyal: once he falls for you, you’re going to have his love for life
– loves helping others, which is why he became a doctor

Ooh, I love Gilbert and Anne!! Yes, I would definitely be willing to date him, and if I end up marrying him, I definitely won’t have 7 kids (or was it 8?)!

Juliet Capulet (from Romeo and Juliet)
– only thirteen years old, but knows how to fall hard in just a few hours
– would be willing to kill herself out of love for you
– has a way better nurse than parents

No. I am not even going to explain, no.

Sep’s Recommendations:

Cartier Evariste
-Has multiple aliases (Aodhan Morgane, Theo D’Aramitz)
– Amazingly good with history, myths and folklore
-Knows how to stich wounds
-Recites A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E quotes
-Gets a crown of wildflowers made especially for you
-He’s not only a brainy guy, can kill too.
– Super good leadership qualities
-Will banter with you
-Will give you an adorable blue rose necklace *faints

Yeah, all the other qualities are amazing too, BUT BLUE ROSE NECKLACE.

Fun fact: I have been searching all over the place to buy a blue coloured flower plant, but I literally cannot find one😭😭 Someone please find me one and send it to me😭😭

-KPOP Band guy
-Extremely cute
-Will sing for you
-Finds secrets spots to meet (paps you know?)

AGAIN, UM YES. Who wouldn’t date someone in a band?! And that too, a famous one, since paps!!! I MEAN, DUH, I WOULD DATE HIM. The real question, is would he? *stares dreamily into the space.*

-Determination is something she doesn’t lack at all
-A HOT DOG costume worker at the amusement park
-very cheerful, talkative and fun

Maybe? I don’t know. I guess, she’s worth a try.

A non-blogger’s recommendations:

Sir Percy Blakeney (The Scarlet Pimpernel)
– Courageous, loyal, makes sacrifices when necessary
– High intelligence in planning escapes and in thwarting enemies
– Able to switch from being dead serious to being very silly in a moment

Well, Sir Percy Blakeney definitely seems like a fun person, so maybe I might date him.

Mr Bingley (Pride and Prejudice)
– Humble and friendly to everyone and easy to get along with
– Loyal to his love
– Values his friendship with Mr. Darcy despite Mr. Darcy’s proud behavior to other people.

Ooh, yeah, I like him.

And with that, we come to the end of this super fun activity (Lol, I sound like a school teacher)!!!! This was so much fun for both me and you, so maybe we’ll have a repeat of this sometime! Also, I have some more interactive stuff lined up (My brain just came up with it, I will be posting it soon!), so do stay tuned!!

  1. Wow, I’m astounded you wouldn’t want Peeves or Juliet πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (Honestly, if you’d said yes to one of them, I would have been seriously worried!)
And I’m so glad you like Gilbert as well! πŸ₯°

    1. I honestly don’t know…. Someone did suggest it, so maybe, I don’t know
      YES HE IS.
Well, this was the last part of Book Character Tinder, but I have some more interactive stuff planned, and you could contribute to it as well!

    1. Yeah, I like him more than Harry too, but I don’t know, I just wouldn’t date him… to be honest, I read Harry Potter when I was super young, so I feel like all the characters are my brothers and sisters and not potential crushes.
