Hey guys! Welcome or welcome back to Whispering Stories!
Today I’ll be interviewing a blogger who talks about mental health on her blog- A topic that has a lot of stigma around it, but is a super important part of every individual’s life. I welcome Christina @Webb Blogs on my blog, and am super excited to have her here!
R- Tell my readers something about you and your blog.
C- Hi, thank you so much for having me. This is my first interview and I’m really excited! My name is Christina and I started my blog in January of this year. I mainly write about life with mental health issues. I have OCD and severe panic attacks. When I started my blog not many people knew I had OCD. I kept it a secret for many years. Now everyone knows and it feels good to let it out and not hide it anymore. Living with OCD has been a real struggle. I started blogging hoping that if I talked about it I would learn how to live a happier more fulfilling life. I also want to spread awareness and educate those that don’t know what OCD is.
R- Well, I hope blogging about it helped you! What is your most favourite and least favourite part about blogging?
C- One of thing I love most about my blog is the awesome feedback. I have had people write me and say how much it has helped them to feel not so alone. So many people suffer in silence and I try to encourage everyone to speak up and reach out. Nobody should go through it alone. To answer the second part of your question, I guess the thing I like least about blogging is how hard it is to get new followers. But I do love and appreciate the ones I do have.
R- Oh, I see. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
C- In 5 years from now I hope I am able to travel out of my comfort zone. Right now I barely leave the town I live in because of my panic attacks. Blogging is helping me to make goals and I’m also learning how to take the tiny steps in completing those goals.
R- I hope you are able to travel the world one day! And I am glad you are progressing. What do you love to do when you’re alone?
C- OK, so this is a little embarrassing to admit but I like watching Disney movies. They are always positive and uplifting and also there’s always a good ending.
R- That’s not embarrassing at all! I love Disney movies and I think I’ll always love them! If you were to get a tattoo, where would it be and what would it be?
C- I don’t have any tattoos but if I were to get one it would be something to do with my boys. Maybe a heart with their names or their names around my ankle.
R- Ooh, that sounds nice! If you were to choose one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
C- I absolutely love chocolate chip ice-cream. As a matter of fact I’m eating a bowl right now.
R- Yum! Okay, dogs or cats?
C- Dogs
R- Yay! Lastly, how was your experience of doing this and what’s your feedback for my blog in general?
C- This has been such a great experience for me. Thank you so much for this opportunity. Your blog is wonderful, I am so glad I came across it.
R- Thank you so much Christina, it was a pleasure and an honour having you here!
That’s it for today people! What is a mental health issue you have, or feel like it isn’t talked about enough? Let me know your views in the comments!

Disney movies are the best! 🤩🤩🤩 I don’t see any reason why you should feel embarrassed for watching them, Christina – trust me, I’m obsessed, too!
Great interview, guys!

Christina’s blog looks really cool! I’d like to learn more about OCD so I can get past the stereotypes usually portrayed in media to something more accurate. And yum, chocolate chip ice cream forever sounds fun!

Great interview, I follow your blog Christina and like your personal voice you reveal through your writing. I hadn’t known about OCD but understood panic attacks. Myself I have bipolar disorder and it helps to write about it too.
