Monthly Wrap Up | November 2021? Nah, more like super hasty blog/life update of the month

Hey Guys! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!

Full disclaimer- I am not linking to any of my posts this month like I usually do, because I literally don’t have enough time to do that. But maybe I will after 14th December.

November was pretty eventful. I got a haircut on the first day of the month, and I look younger, honestly. There was Diwali which was lit, actually. I went to my dada’s place, and we celebrated there, and that was kinda fun. There was my Dad’s birthday and parents’ anniversary, which weren’t celebrated all that funly, because of BOARDS! Yes, my favourite month (Tis my birthday month, and Taylor Swift’s birthday and it sounds so lovely- De-cem-ber)- December has officially become the most dreaded month of the year, because boards!

To talk about blogging in November, honestly, I didn’t put out posts that I would have loved too. And that was kinda because I took on too much. Like, I don’t know, it was probably because I signed up for multiple blog tours, and then all the blogger interviews, and human book club posts. I am not complaining, I enjoyed it, but I just wished I could have posted more bookish stuff, since you know, I am a book blogger. But, well, hopefully December will be better.

Anyway, more about November. I tried an audiobook for the first time, and I actually enjoyed it! I read a few more during the month, and you can check my Goodreads, to see the books I read this month. I read a total of 11 books and honestly, I surprised myself, haha.

I did multiple blog tours this month, and they were fun, so maybe I’ll do more! Free books are actually fun, heh. I didn’t do a lot of bookish posts except these though.

I continued watching a bit of The Big Bang Theory this month, and rewatched some Friends episodes. I don’t think I watched any movies.

AND THEN RED. I MEAN, RED, TAYLOR IS GODDESS, RED. ALL TOO WELL SHORT FILM. SADIE SINK. ALL TOO WELL 10 MINUTE VERSION. STATE OF GRACE. RED. I LOVE TAYLOR. AND BECAUSE OF STUPID BOARDS I HAVE JUST HEARD LIKE 7 OF THE SO MANY SONGS. BOO BOARDS.(NOT REALLY, NO BOO BOARDS, I NEED GOOD MARKS IN BOARDS. SORRY BOARDS, I WAS JUST KIDDING AND A LITTLE FRUSTRATED. I RESPECT YOU BOARDS.)

As for the blogger interviews, they finally have finished! But you can still drop an email, if you want to participate.

The Human Book Club is still carrying on successfully, and I am so happy about that. It really means a lot to me that all of you trust me enough to solve your problems! But, it’s getting kinda overwhelming because there are so many entries and a lot of them require urgent attention, and well, I can’t do that right now, because of boards and the fact that there are so many of them. But well, I’ll deal with it.

While I couldn’t blog hop a lot, these are the posts I enjoyed this month:

  1. Line @First Line Reader did a post on if she agrees with Storygraph reviewers, and I rather enjoyed it!
  2. Rachel @A Bookworm’s Paradise did a discussion post on Book Reviews! She also did a post on books David would use to hit Jesper, and that one was pretty cool too!
  3. Maddie @Inking and Thinking did a post matching Met Gala outfits with books! I found it a really fun idea!
  4. Jayati @It’s Just A Coffee Addicted Bibliophile, Amy @Sassy Cat Lady, Sep @Bookishly Yours, Lit for Queers and Maya @Pretty Little Scribbles did ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ themed posts, which were amazing! Click on the previous links to check them all out!
  5. Sofii @A Book. A Thought celebrated 5 years of blogging, which honestly is so cool! She also shared useful tips for all the newbies out there!
  6. Elli @Ace Reader did a post on bookish things that confuse them, and I honestly found it super relatable!
  7. Antonia and Amanda @Classy X Book Reviews and Vicky @What Vicky Reads are going to be hosting a read-a-thon- The End-of-Year-A-Thon from 26th December to 31st December, and I’ll definitely try and participate! Click on the links to find out what they’re about! (Vicky’s link leads to the 2020 version, as I couldn’t find the 2021 one!)

These are the blogs I discovered this month:

  1. Ashley @Reader’s Cove
  2. Harini @Book Spiral
  3. Dini @Dinipandareads
  4. Tree and Bree @Words About Words
  5. Julie @One Book More
  6. Luna @Rainy Thoughts

I feel like that’s all the main things in this month. Click here to check all of my posts of this month!

Also, I know the look of this wrap-up really sucks, but I can’t do anything, sorry.

I hope you had a great November! Are you looking forward to December? I sure am not! Also, only one month until 2022? Can you believe that? Let me know everything in the comments!

P.S.-1 A bunch of you tagged me for a bunch of tags this month, and I promise to get to them in January (Gosh, January!)- I have a pretty packed month for December already!

P.S.-2 All Human Book Club entries till 14th December won’t be altered so if you do send in an entry now, it will be published after 14th December.

  1. Wow, you really have had a super busy and productive month! Make sure to take some time for yourself, too, though! 💙

Also, even I am obsessed with Sadie Sink and the All Too Well short film, and I’m not a huge Swiftie… So that just goes to show how good it is! 😍

It’s great that you tried the audiobook format, I didn’t listen to many either and encouraging myself was a challenge, but I ended up enjoying the experience ☺️✨ & Swiftie here, so I get it 😭👏🏻✨❤️

  4. YES, RED! I’m obsessed and I’ve still been listening to the vault tracks on endless repeat now despite me trying (not very hard) to diversify my tracklist 😂 TS is an absolute queen! What’s the audiobook that you tried? I’m quite picky with audios but I’m always on the lookout for new ones to try (and hopefully love)! Good luck with your boards and have a wonderful December!
