Hey everybody! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!
I have seen this challenge go around the blogosphere and was itching to try it out myself, so I was rather happy when Maria @The Character Study and Naemi @A Book Owl’s Corner tagged me for it! Thank you so much for the tag Maria and Naemi, and guys, go check their blogs out, they’re amazing!
The tag was created by Laura @ Laura’s Book Reviews.
The Rules
- You have to answer the prompts without using the internet or looking at your bookshelves.
- Your answers have to all come from memory!
- Make sure to link to the person who originally tagged you.
- Once you’re done, you can tag five other people if you’d like.
Let’s see how terrible my memory is!
Questions
1. Name a book written by an author called Michael
Ugghh, I am already struggling at the first prompt! I remember this author I used to read when I was younger- Michael Morpurgo, and I even own a book written by him, and I remember the cover because it has a dog on it, but I can’t remember the name- BORN TO RUN! That was what the book was called!
2. Name a book with a dragon on the cover
I pick Eragon for this one. The novel has a dragon- named Eragon’s face on the cover. I actually own the first two books of the series, but I got bored after that, so I never got around to reading the rest of it.
3. Name a book about a character called George
Huh. I. Am. Stumped. I mean I am literally thinking back to the era of Enid Blyton books, and I cannot think of a single book. I mean, I think I have literally never read a novel with a George. Oh wait. WAIT. Does Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows count? There’s a George in there who gets his ear blown off and literally loses his twin, so the book is partly about him? It counts, right? No? Oh okay.
4. Name a book written by an author with the surname Smith
I pick This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith. I thought of this surprisingly fast. Phew.
5. Name a book set in Australia
I recently read a book for a blog tour- Anything But Fine by Tobias Madden and it was set in *says in terrible Australian accent* Australia, mate.
6. Name a book with the name of a month in the title
And yet again, a book I read for a blog tour comes to the rescue! Honest June by Tina Wells is my answer for this!
7. Name a book with a knife on the cover
I know this. I should know this. Wait, does a dagger count as a knife? Because then I think the Throne of Glass cover has Aelin holding a dagger….
8. Name a book with the word ‘one’ in the title
This is the easiest one! One of Us Is Lying, One of Us is Next!
9. Name a book with a eponymous title
Not me googling what eponymous means.
Oh, it means something that’s named after something. Hmm…. Maria named The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, would it be cheating if I said Daisy Jones and the Six? Or wait, there’s also Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, that works too, right? There’s also A Man Called Ove. There are so many!
10. Name a book turned into a movie
Again- so many! Enola Holmes, To All the Boys, The Kissing Booth, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter etc. etc.
And those are all the prompts! This was super fun to do!
I tag:
- Sophie @Me & Ink
- Suhani @Random Reader’s Rambles
- Starlit Tales
- Aria @Book Nook Bits
- YOU!
How many prompts were easy for you to guess? Let me know down below in the comments!

P.S.-1 How’s the featured image? I am thinking of switching graphics up a little and do an entirely black and white thing. What do you guys think?

This is such a unique tag and a challenge. It’s like being asked what your favourite book is then forgetting every book ever to exist! I think the first question is the hardest… a book with an author named Michael… I read mainly female authors I think 🙈 but when you started describing the cover, I remembered that from my childhood too. I wouldn’t have remembered his surname though so well done 😂
Thank you for tagging me! 🥰🥰

Wow, and I thought I was fast in finally doing this tag – when I saw this in my reader, I was like, “Well, drat, I just tagged her and now she’s already done it!” 😂 How are you so much more on top of things than me? 😫
That George answer was cruel, though, Riddhi 😭😭😭 How dare you remind me of something so horrible, huh?!? And it’s funny you should mention Enid Blyton there because one of the Famous Five protagonists is called George, after all! You just needed to strain those braincells a little tad more 😜
And I like the featured image! My evil, dark soul is a huge fan of black and white 😊

lol, this has been sitting in my drafts for a while anyway
I am sorry Naemi, it was unpleasant for me too, but oh well!
Righttttttttttttt, I knew there was a George somewhere there!
Thank you!

AHH THANKS FOR TAGGING ME!! And oh my gosh THESE QUESTIONS ARE HARD!! I’d probably just fail immediately haha 😂 I think the deathly hallows would count for that prompt right?? I mean George was easily one of the best characters in the series so I think it should definitely be considered 😂😂
loved reading your answers!!

I honestly cannot believe I’m the only person who apparently didn’t think of Eragon when I read the dragon question… What even was going through my brain? 😂 You honestly did really well, loved reading it!
