Book Tag | The Last, Now, Next Book Tag

Hey people! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a tag, so I thought I’d give this short tag a shot. I have so many pending tags but literally no time to sit down and type out a long post, but this one seems rather short, so I’m giving it a shot!

I was tagged by Shivakshi @Tales I Tell! who’s also the creator of the tag! Do check her blog out for some awesome content!

~LAST

The last book I read was Summer’s Edge by Dana Mele, which is a horror, mystery, thriller kind of thing. I usually don’t read horror (Totally not because I’m a scaredy-cat), and I think this was the first horror I’ve ever read, and it definitely wasn’t as scary as I thought it’d be! It was an ARC, and I’ve already reviewed it on my Goodreads, so you can check it out here!

YES!! It’s definitely amazing, and the horror wasn’t too much either, so everyone who is scared to read a horror, this is the perfect place to start! It does get a little chilly 1/3rds in, but nothing to worry about. I rated it 5 stars, so yes, I definitely do recommend it to everyone! It was amazing!

~NOW

I don’t know when I’ll be publishing this post, but on the day I’m typing it (3rd May), I’m reading Dead End Girls by Wendy Heard.

…..because it’s one of the many blog tour books I have to review.

I don’t know honestly, because I am just not being able to get into it, although I am just 7% in. I’ll definitely finish it in the next week, though.

~NEXT

I am actually going to read a YA Contemporary Romance next- Beauty and the Besharam by Lillie Vale. Why do I already have it decided? Yep, you guessed it- blog tour. I’d have picked this book at some point anyway, because it has bisexual Indian rep, starts with TS’s song, has enemies to lovers…. Do I need to go on?

I actually haven’t seen how long Beauty and the Besharam is, but I’m hoping it’s not too long!

As I said, I’m going to read Beauty and the Besharam. After that, I’ll probably read Go Hunt Me, which is another horror novel (I know, I am so brave.) After that, I’m gonna read Two Truths and a Lie, which sounds like such an awesome novel (It’s YA mystery!!) and then The Places I’ve Never Been which is a Kasie West novel, and I am super excited to get to it! Then I’ll probably read Before Take Off and then I’ll read Home Field Advantage. If it wasn’t obvious, these are all ARCs! I actually am planning out my reading for the first time in my life.

I tag (No pressure!):

  1. Kaya @A Fictional Bookworm
  2. Queenie @The Erudite Labyrinth
  3. Laura @The Corner of Laura
  4. YOU!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! What’s your current read? Are you enjoying it? Let me know in the comments!

P.S.-1 This is somehow my 600th post. Uhh, yeah, that happened.

P.S.-2 I wrote this post a week ago, and I’ve now completed Beauty and the Besharam as well. It’s awesome, go check it out!!

  1. I’m reading a few books right now, one of them is I Kissed Shara Wheeler which I’m enjoying a lot! But I recently read Dead End Girls and loved it a lot, it’s definitely one of my favourite YA thrillers and I’m still struggling to find the right words for my review haha. I hope you manage to get into it!
