Harry’s House Book Tag

Hey guys! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!

So, recently I’ve been mildly obsessed by Harry Styles latest album, and what better way to celebrate the obsession than to do a themed book tag! The only thing that I didn’t like about the album is the fact that it’s like really cocaine and erm, sex focused, and I honestly don’t enjoy music with so much of that. But the music is really cool!

A song I would want as a single is Late Night Talking because it’s perfect single material, if that makes sense? Like it’s catchy and not exactly very depressing, right?

Edit: There’s a Late Night Talking MV coming out on July 15, but it wasn’t announced at the time I wrote this post. This just shows I am great at predicting stuff and deciding singles. Thank you. If any music artist would like me to help them decide MVs for their albums, feel free to contact me.

MUSIC FOR A SUSHI RESTAURANT — A book with a “ride or die” type of friendship

I love the tune of this song! I literally dance to it everyday! I especially love the pre-chorus, it’s so nice- like the I love you babe portion!

Honestly, I genuinely love the friend group of the #BestFriendsForever series. It’s kind of cliched, but you can see that all the girls genuinely care and respect each other!

LATE NIGHT TALKING — A book you gave a second chance and ended up liking.

This is probably one of my favourite songs on the album! It’s like so catchy and has such a fun tune! *hums if you’re feeling down I just wanna make you happier baby*

Honestly, I haven’t really given a second chance to any book, but I did pick I Was Born For This and A Man Called Ove when I was in a slump and ended up DNF-ing them, so I do intend to pick them up soon!

GRAPEJUICE — A book with “something old and red”

This is one of the two songs on the album I don’t like very much :((

I honestly cannot think of a single book with this prompt!

AS IT WAS — A book you liked more as a child.

YOU KNOW IT’S NOT THE SAME…. AS IT WAS…. AS IT WAS… AS IT WAAAAS.

Yeah, I did get a little overenthusiastic. Ahem, excuse moi.

Does 12 count as a child? If yes, my answer’s The Sun is Also a Star and All the Bright Places!

I don’t know why I didn’t like them when I reread them last year but like the books just irritated me? I am sorry, but yeah, that’s the truth.

DAYLIGHT — A book with a toxic relationship

Okay, please, the video that James Corden directed for Harry, is impeccable. And it’s like so good! James Corden is such a fun man! I hate that he’s gonna stop hosting :(((( This is another song that’s got a great

The Places I Cried in Public by Holly Bourne describes toxic relationships in the best way possible, and this book is THE answer for this prompt.

LITTLE FREAK — A book you wished you DNF’d

I enjoy listening to this song occasionally- like it’s not my favourite track, but I do like it.

A book I wish I DNF’d, hmm, I wonder what it could be. Oh, yes, indeed, I do know the distasteful answer- The Summer I Turned Pretty.

MATILDA — A book with a character/s that has a lot of trauma

This is one of the best tracks on the album. I avoid listening to it, because it makes me want to cry.

Can I say Between Shades of Grey? Like it doesn’t have trauma like that described in the song, but the book is very traumatic in general.

CINEMA — A book who’s story is just as good as the cover.

This is the other song of the album I don’t particularly like. Like, it’s just not my taste.

Okay, tell me that cover isn’t hauntingly beautiful? And the story’s beautiful too! I love this book!

DAYDREAMING — A series you desperately clung to so it “won’t end”.

Honestly, this is another song I dance to nearly everyday. I mean there’s a YouTube dance party workout, and I do it everyday, so yeah.

My answer for this is A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. I am so sad that the series has come to an end, as it’s so good!

KEEP DRIVING — A book with a road trip

I am obsessed with this song. It’s so calming yet catchy at the same time? I call it the Harry Styles effect.

A book with a road trip is Places We’ve Never Been by Kasie West!

SATELLITE — A book with a side character who deserved better

This was a song that I was obsessed with, now I just like it, lol.

My answer for this is Sirius Black. He. Deserved. Better. Period.

BOYFRIENDS — A book you have a hate/love relationship with

Oooh, this is a good song! Also, Harry’s concert where he was like F*ck Boyfriends, I love that clip so much!

Again, I can’t really think of a book.

LOVE OF MY LIFE — A book with a soulmate pairing

*Me to my books* Babies, you are the love of my liiifee

I love this song! This was the first song on the album I was obsessed with (except As It Was)!

I’m literally going through my GR and I cannot find a single book? I am pretty sure there are books I believe have soulmate pairings, but I just can’t think of any :((
