The Haiku Tag!

Hey everyone! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!

I love haikus. If you head to my poetry blog, you’ll see I write haikus occasionally. I also thought of writing this post there, but well, both Stara, Betty (I can’t seem to find her blog) and Dhriti– the amazing people who tagged me, linked to this blog, so well, yeah, I am doing this tag here!

  1. Tag Eva @album of amazing.
  2. Mention the person who tags you.
  3. Add the rules to your post.
  4. Pick 2 topics to write 2 Haikus.
  5. Tag alteast 5 people.
  6. HAVE FUN!❤❤

  1. Dogs.
  2. Fire.
  3. Sea.
  4. Nature.
  5. Music.

With the kindest eyes
And the biggest smile and heart
Dogs will win your heart!

I can hear the beat
And feel me swaying to it
Bing bong bing it goes!

Yeah, I know those weren’t so good. My brain’s been writing more paragraph oriented poetry lately, and well, it went in a haiku wish and how I wish I had been tagged then. But, oh well.

I tag:

  1. Naemi @A Book Owl’s Corner (Don’t you dare say you can’t write haikus Naemi, you wrote amazing ones in that hiatus post of yours)
  2. Akshita @Anthology of Akshita’s Thoughts
  3. Nehal @Quirky Pages
  4. Devangi @Just Penning Down My Thoughts
  5. YOU!

Let me know in the comments what your favourite form of poetry is!

  1. Why am I not surprised that you chose the dog prompt? 🤣

I really enjoyed your poems, though, and thanks so much for the tag! Although I think you may have a typo in this post because I’m very skeptical whether my cringe-worthy hiatus haikus can be classified as “amazing”… 🤔

  2. this is actually so funny because i’m taking a world literature class this year and my project this week is to write like 10 haikus😂 i think for me though they all have to have some relation to seasons and stuff because that’s how it is in japan or something?! 😂
