Student of the year 2

Student of the year 2

Student of the year 2 is a film directed by Punit Malhotra, starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria and Aditya Seal. It was released in 2019 and greeted with enthusiasm as it was the sequel to the famous Student of the year. However, once the audience watched the film, the enthusiasm and zeal died out because of the poor performance of the film.

Rohan, a middle-class teenager wishes to attend a college full of rich students just so that he can be with his lover, Mridula. There, he befriends Manav Randhawa who is a top student at the school but is at loggerheads with his sister, Shreya. This life holds several surprises for him and the film revolves around how he tackles him.

The film is rather impractical and never likely to happen. Most of the actors were not any good either. However, debutante Ananya Panday performed very well. Aditya Seal could have put in a little more expression in his performance. I am sorry to say this but Tara Sutaria acted in a very poor way. Tiger Shroff too could have performed better.

The film was moderately humourous and I liked that. The subsidiary actors performed better than the main ones and were the main sources of humour.

The songs of the film were quite nice, especially ‘The Jawaani Song’. The action scenes were not that bad either.

I will not recommend you to watch this film unless and until you have literally nothing else to do.
