Blogger Interview with Saumya!

Hey everyone! So, this is the last blogger interview, and I must admit, though it was tiring it was fun! So, I just wanted to ask that if I ever do this again, would y’all be interested? I mean all those people who haven’t interviewed…. or maybe I could ask different questions…. but anyway, do you want me to do this again? I am busy these days, but once I am freer, maybe I could do it again? Anyhoo, let me know if you would participate again, or if you enjoyed reading it!

Anyhow, today the last interview is of Saumya @Draw-Write-Inspire. She too has a great blog so do check it out!!

Let’s start!

Me: Tell me something about yourself.

Saumya: Hey there! My name is Saumya. I’m a teenager, currently in 8th Standard, living in India. I love to draw, write and dance. I also play piano and do lettering. I’m a Potterhead, an ARMY and a music lover. 

Me: Oh, I see. Why did you start blogging?

Saumya: I love to write and draw and I wanted to connect with the world to share my ideas and creativity. I wanted to share my works somewhere socially but my parents never allowed me social media, so I thought blogging might help me to do what I want.

Me: I see, I see. What motivates you to continue blogging?

Saumya: The encouragement I have got from my readers, my Followers and the WordPress community gives me a huge motivation to continue blogging. They have shown me immense support and love which makes me spend more time on my blog and also makes my happy.

Me: Ditto! What do you blog about?

Saumya: My blog mostly consists of poems and write-ups and some art that I create. I usually write about things I have gone through. And I just draw whatever I like and post it! 

Me: Oh, I am getting into canvas painting a bit! What’s your least favorite thing about having a blog?

Saumya: I don’t have anything in my mind that I don’t like about blogging so far. I haven’t came across any such challenging thing in blogging.

Me: I hope it stays this way for you! Do you read? What are your favourite books?

Saumya: Yes! I love to read. My favourite series is Harry Potter by J K Rowling. I also like to read Thea Stilton, Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton.

Me: Oh, I have enjoyed all those authors! What is your favourite genre? Why?

Saumya: My favourite genre is fantasy. I love magical things, like spells, wands, fairies etc. And also that bewitching stuff makes me feel like I’m in some other world.

Me: Ah, that’s almost everyone’s famous genre! Do you listen to music? Who are your favourite artists?

Saumya: I love music. I can’t last one day without listening to music. It’s like the butter to my bread. The list of my favourite artists is endless. Some of them are BTS, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Ava Max, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, BLACKPINK, Tomorrow X Together, Charlie Puth. Me: Ooh, I see! Taylor Swift is iconic! What are your greatest strengths?

Saumya: My greatest strengths is my creativity. I love to create things with a twist. I remember me and my friends had a dance performance and we couldn’t decide upon a dress code because all of us didn’t have clothes of same colour. Then it was me who came up with an idea. And I have been given the title of being a Creative Queen so I think that’s why I think creativity is my greatest strength.

Me: Oh, I love creative people!! What are your pet peeves?

Saumya: I think I’ve told about this many times but the things that annoys me the most is when people are judged by their gender. I hate gender inequality. If a boy can run fast, so can a girl. I’ve had experiences in my life that make me feel such way.

Me: I agree 100%! What are your hobbies?

Saumya: I like to read, write, draw, dance, play piano and I absolutely love to blog!

Me: Any good thing that happened with you in 2020?

Saumya: Yes, a very famous writer, my favourite one actually, replied and appreciated my drawing. She gave it 5 stars and told me she loved the drawing. I had posted it through my dad’s twitter and it has around 300 likes!

Me: Oh, that’s awesome!!!!!! Congratulations!! Lastly, some feedback for my blog?

Saumya: Sure! I absolutely love your nature actually. The beautiful and crisp way you use to write your posts. The images and graphics are also really amazing. I think you were one of the first blog that I followed when I came on WordPress. Keep working, Riddhi! I know one day you’ll soar high and your blog will shine even more!
