Answering your Questions! | Part I

Hey Guys! Welcome or welcome back to my blog!

So, when we hit 900 followers, I asked y’all to ask me some questions, and the response was overwhelming! Thank you so much, and without further ado, let’s get into the answers!

Stara’s Questions:

  1. What’s your favorite animal?
Hmm… I don’t have one favourite animal, I have three! Dogs, dolphins and owls!
  2. If you could be one animal which would it be?
A pet doggo. Eat, sleep, play, repeat is a schedule I could live with.
  3. What superpower do you think is the coolest out of all of them?
Mind reading. Imagine if I could read/hear the thoughts of the people I want to hear of, and know what they really think of me- including you, the person on the other side of the screen- that would be awesome!
  4. What are you currently reading?
Well, I started this post at 4 in the morning on 4th of December, to take a break from Maths, and I was reading The Clocks by Agatha Christie and As If On Cue by Marisa Kanter.
  5. Have you read His Dark Materials?

Dhriti’s Questions:

  1. What is your favourite sport?
To watch- Cricket. To play- Basketball. Ooh no, swimming or cycling- do they count as sports?
  2. What is your dream job?
Honestly, a bestselling author, but that’s a dream that looms like a mirage (If any of you got that reference, I would be impressed)
  3. When is your birthday?
5 Days before Taylor Swift’s birthday, 10 days before Billie Eilish’s and 6 after Charlie Puth’s.
  4. Is there a book you could read numerous times without ever growing tired of it?
I thought Harry Potter was that book, since I have reread the entire series annually, but this year I didn’t so idk.
  5. Last time you went to the hospital?
I think it was for a field trip a couple of years ago.
  6. Favourite childhood memory?
Don’t really have one, since I am still a teeny tiny kiddo (Not really, I am huge)
  7. What is the most unusual fear you have?
I … actually don’t have an answer for this- my fears are pretty generic.
  8. What is your favorite TV show?
    Brooklyn 99!

Nehal’s Questions:

  1. You do eat sometimes in the middle of the night don’t you? Like even after 12? Do you eat stuff after brushing your teeth, or before…or you don’t brush em at all?
    Ahem, moving on…
  2. Which subject are you confident that you will get good marks in your boards?
I honestly don’t know. This year’s papers have been weird honestly.
  3. Favourite number?
4, but not written like, written in a different way. (Oh, come on, y’all know I am weird.)
  4. What’s the thing you like the best about me (hehe)?
Hmmm… I love how frank you are. Like you take little to no bullshit.
  5. What’s the thing you like the best about you?
Nothing. I am a generic person.
  6. Tell me a blogging moment you wanna relive.
That time when I got a hundred likes on a post.
  7. If you had to change your name to some other name, which one would it be?
  8. Which HBC entry of yours did you relate to the most?
I don’t really think there has been one yet, that I related to like on another level or something.
  9. Which one made you most happy to give advice to?
Honestly, all of them make me equally happy, because like every time I give out advice, I help another person.
  10. If you could trade places with me for a day, what’s the first thing you would do?

Jan’s Questions:

  1. Fav book cover?
…..i don’t really have one? Like I look at good covers appreciatively, but like then I forget about them when I read the book? If that makes sense?
  2. Do you have a WIP? What is it about?
I actually do, but I haven’t worked on it since July, as a result of a terrible writing slump. It’s a really really basic YA contemporary romance novel. I have published about 35 chapters on Wattpad, you can read them here.

Betty’s Questions:

  1. What was the best dream you ever had?
I don’t really ever remember my dreams, and I literally don’t ever remember good ones.
  2. Who are the book authors you really like?
Karen M. McManus, Agatha Christie, Uncle Rick, Kasie West among so many others!

Gelina’s Questions:

  1. Cat or dog person?
Although I have started liking cats a little. Not the ones with a smug look on their face.

Ooh, pani puri, rajma chawal (Indian dishes), pizza and mac n cheese.
  3. Place you want to visit the most?
As cliched as it sounds, New York.
  4. How can I get more followers?
I actually did an entire advice post right here. Implement all of this, and you should be good to go!
  5. When did you start your blog?
March 26, 2020. Jeez, my baby is almost 2 years old. Yes, my blog is my baby. All my blogs are my babies.
  6. On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you like blogging?

  7. Fav season?
I actually like those few days in the transition of summer to winter when it’s pleasantly cool. Those days are so less here, I relish them.

Naemi’s Questions:

  1. What is one quality about yourself that you really like, and what is something about yourself you are hoping to change?
One quality I really like about myself is the fact that I can work hard if I want to. Emphasis on the *if*. One thing I am hoping to change is the fact that I want to not get attached to people and things as easily as I do.
  2. If you could choose one author to cowrite a book with, who would it be and why?
  3. Which of your blog posts are you the most proud of? Does it match with your statistically most popular post?
Well, humour wise, I actually enjoyed writing the post Types of Followers we have, it was pretty lit. Other than that, I actually wrote a post on sexual harassment last year, and I liked that I did that. None of these posts are my most popular ones.
  4. If you had five minutes to spend a million dollars before the money vanished, what would you spend it on?
Hmm… well, that is a lot of money, so I would buy a house first, like forget the formalities for a moment, okay? A house, then bookshelves for the house, then books, then if there’s time left I would buy other essential furniture for the house.
  5. What’s the coolest place you’ve ever been to?
A bookstore. It took me to all the cool places I needed to go.

Suhani’s Questions:

  1. What is the least favourite post you’ve ever written?
Well, I think the book reviews I wrote when I started blogging are my least favourite, but for reasons such as nostalgia, I won’t ever take them down.
  2. What’s your favourite colour?
  3. What is the Craziest food combination you’ve ever tried?
Okay, so there’s this thing called papad, it’s an Indian snack, eaten roasted or fried. You roast it, and then eat it with Nutella, and it tastes amazing, not even kidding.

Meena’s Questions:

  1. Which book guy do you think you can take in a fight if you had to?
None. I am very weak. I mean, well, I am healthy, and a little overweight, but I don’t really have physical strength.
  2. What food from a book do you want to try?
Hmmm… Butterbeer from Harry Potter- haha, basic, I know.
  3. What’s your favourite fantasy weapon(s)?
    I don’t have one? I am a peace-loving person.

  1. You skipped my first person 🤣.
And it’s kinda surprising that you think I’m a no bullshit kinda person coz nobody’s ever thought of me that way, I guess 🤔.
And I am also a big fan of the time when summer transitions into winte! It’s nice weather and it kinda gives hope that winter isn’t upon us yet, I guess.
    This post was cool! 😀

  2. Of course swimming is a sport! It’s the best one there is! 😊 And cats with smug looks on their faces are adorable 😻 Also, Riddhi, I need you to work on your fighting skills, because should we ever run into an evil book character, I’m even less qualified to take them on – I’ll need protection!
